Yesterday we took a family field trip to Discovery Park in Magnolia. We had to try out the girls' new backpacks. It is way easier to carry them in these, say bye bye to the bjorns. Unfortunately, dogs aren't allowed on the beach so we couldn't take full advantage of the park and the sun. But it was a good little hike anyway. 
Madi was NOT happy about having to get back in her backpack.
Today's field trip was with some friends to Skagit Valley to look at all the beautiful flowers. The tulips weren't out yet but the daffodils were.
I love this, both girls showing their "first born" attitudes with their hands on their hips.
Susie's kids, Katie and Sarah were way more cooperative than my kids. I got some great shots of them and only of few of Madi and Emma.
